Since 2007, when he left Per què es grillen les patates?, El Petit de Cal Eril has been climbing steps among followers of pop folk music in Catalan, especially in terms of live performances. The 90 concerts of the "magical" tour of the album La força are a testament to this. Since then, the band led by Joan Pons (voice and electric guitar), released its acclaimed trilogy "△" in 2018 and is already working on the next release that is now presented in the Sala Petita. A concert that concludes the 21st edition of the Festival de Poesia de la Mediterrània that promises to be an intense milestone in the long history of a group that has coined the term metaphysical and melancholic pop, "not based on any specific landscape", and that has defined a style "that is non-style" where emotional environments and sounds coexist equidistant between pop and folk.
