A celebration of music crossed with images and vice-versa. The very personal musical language of Pascal Comelade, where he creates new private-popular melodies, accompanied by Ivan, Roger and Oriol, is presented with a friend from a different art form: Max’s comic art that he draws, literally, to the rhythm of the music of the Comeladian galaxies with all of the technical and subjective freedom as a musician has with their instrument.

“Max is like a brother and when he is on stage with us in these illustrated concerts, he is the singer of the orchestra.” Pascal’s own words.

On stage, Pascal Comelade and Max set in motion a shared supperrealism, where reggae turns into Russian, roulette becomes Egyptian, the pianist becomes two-headed, in the heart of a great garden of delicacies that make Brueghel, Ernst, Buñuel, Colinas, Marvel, Le Pétomane, Ricard Viñas and Barceló respond to one another. Here, a Circassian number of monkeys evoke Kiriki, the Japanese acrobats of Segundo de Chomón. Beyond, blurring the clear boundary lines, they invent new imaginary geographies where Ceret, Figueres, Mallorca and Barcelona live together with New Orleans, Patagonia and Timbuktu.

A kaleidoscope and an exchange of deliria and live improvisations.
