Gorakada is one of the most renowned and award-winning companies of children’s theatre in Spain. A prestige it has earned after over three decades dedicated to amusing children and making them think. Once again, this is what they do with El viaje de Ulises, which, they describe as - in their own words - ‘a journey full of unique adventures and shared games, where each act, each scene, is a universe in itself’. From the stage we are told the story of the rebel Ulysses, a man capable of defying the Gods of Olympus and deciding his own destination. Upon returning to Ithaca he faces all kinds of challenges that will test his resistance, skills and bravery. Orpheus, who changes his lyre for an electric violin, provides the soundtrack of this adventure.
