The choreographer and dancer Andrea Cruz is currently undertaking a solo career after becoming one of the pacesetters for dance in Mallorca over the last two decades with the company Auments. This time, Cruz experiences the movement from contemporary photography, static choreography and performance games in Las Hermanas Verán, a montage that is as hypnotic as it is emotive. Las Hermanas Verán have lost everything, except the memories, where they take refuge to relive the images of their noble family, the embalmed mascots, the almost spectral furniture, the fire of the childhood house, the routines and the utopias and dreams that were frozen to be observed daily. Body, image and memory coexist in this piece, hand in hand with emotion, with a choreography that results in a disturbing atmosphere.
