Unexploded Bomb is a scenic video game. A contemporary dance piece conveyed through Interactive Fiction that simulates software in which players use commands, instructions or text commands to control the characters and influence the setting. A form of interactive storytelling, in which the player feels like an active agent in the plot.
This performance is a single-performer choreographed system, led by a live technician and director, and with a significant amount of decision-making by the audience.
Through images by Lee Miller and chronicles by Marta Gellhorn, both war correspondents, the poetic universe through which our performer moves will be created. The juxtaposition of the spirit of play with a real, raw environment and the dialogue between freedom and limitations will be the elements through which the piece will be crafted.
