Vida reaches Teatre Principal backed by the host of prizes it has won and the growing career of its creator, Javier Aranda, an indispensable name when it comes to Spanish and European puppetry. In Vida, Aranda draws a portrait of human existence from birth to death, placing special emphasis on the relationships between parents and children. This production combines endearing situations with bitter moments, following the tradition of popular theatre. One of the play’s most appealing features is the mise-en-scène: simple yet impacting, where hands and theatrical objects play a fundamental role.
