Y los huesos hablaron (And the bones spoke) is based on the process of excavating old graves to find the bones of those who disappeared or were murdered. The process of excavating between words is very similar and what is sought after is the truth. The performance manages to uncover and make visible conflicts that have been hidden by the official discourse in the name of a supposed political and social stability throughout history. A performance that does speak of violence and disappearances, but in particular, of the violence and disappearances that, like invisible parasites, from generation to generation nest within our bodies and spread throughout society.
A coproduction of the Grec 2016 Festival of Barcelona, with the collaboration of the ICEC (Catalan Institute of Cultural Companies), INAEM, IBERESCENA and the town hall of Báscara (Girona).
