Since 2024, the Teatre Principal de Palma and the Consell de Mallorca have been paying tribute to personalities linked to the world of the performing arts on World Theatre Day on March 27 by naming the seats in the Sala Gran after them.
- 2024 Honorees: Mossèn Joan Maria Thomàs, musician and composer; Antoni Lliteres i Carrió, composer; Pere Capellà, author; Joan Mas i Bauzà, author; Alexandre Ballester, author; Llorenç Villalonga, author; Catalina Valls, actress; Rafel Ramis, actor; Cristina Valls, actress; Xesc Forteza, actor, playwright, and director; Rafel Nadal, musician and founder of the Cor del Teatre Principal; Pedro Fuentes, tenor and doorman at the Teatre Principal; Serafí Guiscafré, director of the Teatre Principal from 1980 to 1995; Pere Noguera, director from 1995 to 1999; Pere Lluís Caminals, actor and head of the theater department at the Teatre Principal; Mauricio Gallardo, theater teacher at the Teatre Principal Choir; José Soler, head waiter at the Teatre Principal; Bernat Damians, machinist at the Teatre Principal; Guillermina Ramis, singer at the Teatre Principal Choir; and Isabel Marín, founding singer at the Teatre Principal Choir.
