Concert extraordinari de Santa Cecília Do Natural & Banda de Música de Felanitx

The Banda de Música de Felanitx and contemporary folk group Do Natural join forces to present a symphonic reinterpretation of the album A laudes. This project features six original compositions, three reinterpretations, and one traditional piece, blending Mallorcan folk rhythms with Balkan, Oriental, and medieval influences — all enriched by touches of swing and unexpected textures.

A laudes is a fresh and heartfelt musical journey, with arrangements that convey joy, hope, and a unique sound. In this symphonic version, the broad palette of the concert band enhances Do Natural’s sonic world, offering new perspectives on their repertoire. The expression “arribar a laudes” — literally, “arriving at lauds” — means arriving late. Yet this concert is perfectly timed: a powerful meeting of tradition and innovation, where folk music and symphonic language converge to bring global sounds closer to the audience. The adaptations have been crafted by composers Biel Oliver and Víctor Ferragut.
