Why Miguel Hernández? Because Hernández is still relevant nowadays for many reasons. Because new melodies are constantly appearing to spread his verses to the world through music. Or maybe because his oeuvre keeps raising controversies that seem to be extended to eternity after more than eighty years of his murder. Or most importantly, because of the immense power of his poetry, and of his less-known but surprising dramatic, journalistic, and epistolary works. This theatre play aims to revive the human being behind the myth, claiming to raise his more intimate, human, and committed voice.
