Clàudia Cedó was resident author in Sala Beckett during the 2017-2018 season, and with this autobiographical text she was awarded the prize for Best Text at the Premis de la Crítica 2018. The staging, directed by Sergi Belbel, also won prizes in the Best Production and Best Leading Actress categories, shared between Maria Rodríguez and Vicky Luengo. Una gossa en un descampat tells the overcoming story of a couple who, like so many others, have to learn how to deal with grief after giving birth to a stillborn baby. Learning something from the whole experience. Facing up to the monster of your own fears. Discovering that you have hidden resources tucked away inside you, which appear when you need them, when they are invoked.
