Cecilia Molano is a multidisciplinary artist who converses with movement, words, images and philosophy. Based on the book by Didi-Huberman, Survival of the Fireflies, and feeding off the literary heritage left by Pasolini and Maria Zambrano, Molano reflects upon the symbolic element of fire flies which, according to Dante, were worms of hell that wandered around like lost souls without a clear intention. Using these foundations, the artist has created a show that conjugates video and creation live. Thus, the work stems from fragments of newspaper and correspondence, commencing with a video installation of a forest that surrounds the audience, where short fragments of other videos are projected. The cast is formed by the performers Magdalena Garzón and Katrin Memmer, who present a true grammar of movements that is added to a glossary composed of concepts such as animal, vibration, resistance and multiplicity.
