Dervish New album, "The Great Irish Songbook"

After 30 years on stage, Dervish remains one of the most creative Irish folk music bands, and one of the most recognized. In Palma, the six members of the group will present their latest album, The Great Irish Songbook (2019), while recovering some of the most iconic songs from their 14 previous albums. Dervish has a deep connection to Mallorca. One of its most celebrated works, Live in Palma, was recorded at the Teatre Principal in 1997.

Dervish recently won the BBC Lifetime Achievement Award, and during his long career the group has performed at international festivals such as Glastonbury or Rock in Rio. The group continually reinvents the songs of their homeland, proving the meaning of the word enduring in all themes that it recovers.
