From Manacor, Mallorca, Roger Pistola celebrates the 25th anniversary of his very first performance and will be joined by a few of the countless musicians and friends that have shared the stage with him over the course of his long career. This concert also serves as an introduction to his new album, “Quart creixent”, which he recorded during the lockdown and was released this year on Bubota.

“I’ve always had a particular interest in ephemerides. I guess this is because I was born on 1 January (although the year in which I was born, 1989, is nowhere near as interesting as other years such as 1991, 1977, 1969, 1666, 1492 or 1099). I always remember when things occur by thinking it happened “x” years ago, especially something that directly relates to my existence, maybe as a tangible point of reference. For example, 17 years ago, I bought OK Computer in Baba Discos. One year before that, I really started smoking. Twenty-two years ago, I got my first electric guitar. Three years before that, I played my first concert (I could swear that that same year I also got my stabilisers for my bike, but I could be wrong).” By Roger Pistola.
