Evolution Film Festival Opening gala

The Evolution! Mallorca International Film Festival (EMIFF) is back once again this year with its ninth edition, and it goes unsaid that the opening gala will take place in the Great Hall at the historic Teatre Principal. Each year, this festival introduces the most outstanding films from the world of independent cinema to us. In addition to offering us a sneak peek of this year's festival, the evening will see several awards being handed out, including to a well-known filmmaker in celebration of his career, and will conclude with an exclusive screening of one of this year’s films, as presented by the director and

its stars. A definitive programme for the event is still being finalised. Following the event’s inauguration, EMIFF will have lots to offer over the course of six days (24-29 October 2020), with film premieres, discussions based on the cinema and filmmaking industry and incredible opportunities to make new contacts within the sector.
