Rock & Press "El último ensayo"

From 2005 to 2011, the band Rock & Press brought to the stage an unusual type of social criticism: journalists becoming rockers. Rock & Press recorded three CDs (Cemento, Korrupción and Krisis) and gave more than 80 performances, in the Balearic Islands as well as in Madrid and Barcelona.

Now, El último ensayo of Rock & Press presents another original experience.

On the stage, with three actors, they will perform what have been their adventures, successes and failures, in a rehearsal format, ten years after the band’s break up. Clara Ingold, Salvador Oliva and José Torresma play different characters who are brought together during the last rehearsal of Rock & Press. In the meantime, the members of the band (Gabi Rodas, Carlos Garrido, Miquel Massutí, Carlos Grauches, Pere Bestard, Joan Frau and Mané Capilla) are trying to remake the old songs while we are given the perfect combination of humor, rock & roll, theatre and journalism.

Ten years later, El último ensayo of Rock & Press brings us this already mythic band whose members have never stopped laughing at themselves.
