Beatriz Ferreyra Encontres Fundació ACA

An outstanding figure in the history of electroacoustic music, Argentinian composer Beatriz Ferreyra (Córdoba, 1937), who has been living in France for many years, proposes a revision of her work in a special live concert where she will spacialize by means of an orchestra made out of loudspeakers specially set up for this occasion and she will play a selection taken from her wide recorded catalogue.

From 1970 she has been deemed an independent composer and has made part of the Colegio de Compositores del Grupo de Músicas Experimentales de Bourges (1975) (Bourges International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music). She has received assignments from the GRM (1967-1970) and the GMEB (since 1971). Her works are mainly of an acousmatic nature. They are born from sensations, perceptions, feelings and a personal vision that she transforms into sound. She composes for films, ballets and shows too and she has taken a great interest in the research and development of works applied to music therapy (1973-1977).
