A death of life received the Art Jove award in 2021. The play deals with the always troublesome topic of suicide and it does so through the combination of physical and textual theatre.

This project is the continuation of a process of creation with a language of its own and a story told from the main character’s perspective, Lara. In the course of the story she transforms into two different people both mirroring society in general.

The play departs from a physical language which lays on a textual base that tells the different things Lara is experiencing, albeit not only in an explicit way but also through her senses and her emotions and how they are displayed in her physical body.

The starting point is the topic of suicide and how the body movement applies to it, and all this is expressed by Lara and a corps de ballet.

A death of life is a visual and touching game the spectators will feel as their own trough the feelings and the situations experienced by the character.

What we are facing here is a dramatic play but told from a textual ordinariness accompanied by a physical virtuosity.
