The company La Baldufa is one of the most applauded in the panorama of children’s theatre in Catalonia and has performed in nearly every European country. The list of prizes and awards they’ve won since 1996 is as unending as their creativity. Now, with this production they venture into a delicate issue: that of bullying at school. Physical and psychological abuse of a student by other children is a problem that has become evident in our society in recent years. La Baldufa have translated this problem to the African savannah and to an animal universe, where it is specifically the lion, the so-called king of the jungle, who is cornered and humiliated by the rest of his peers. During the performance, you’ll see how education, respect and work can change the situation and restore harmony and peace to the community of animals.
