With the music of idols as important as Louis Armstrong and Chet Baker, the young trumpet player and singer has been surprising the audience with Joan Chamorro since 2012, when Quincy Jones noticed her and invited her to share the stage with him. After releasing her first album for Impulse, Emotional Dance, Andrea Motis has now returned with a new project called Do outro lado do azul, dedicated to one of the countries that has had the most influence on universal music, Brazil. A journey to a land full of musical happiness, accompanied by Andrea Motis and Joan Chamorro Quartet, together with first-class guests. Musicians from both sides of the ocean will present songs that mainly have Brazilian roots and traditions, with rhythms that include the bolero, choro and samba.
