Maria Antònia Salvà was a “symbolic mother” to lots of female writers from the beginning of the last century to the poets of the 21st century. This year, as we celebrate 150 years of her birth, we pay our tributes to the first Catalan poet who incorporated feminine and symbolic experiences into the 21st century literary world. A woman who gave a voice to those who didn't have one. Som Tantíssimes remembers the poet and invites us to re-read her texts, while asserting her position as a figurehead of poetry written by women and connecting her to the “women of the year 2000”, who have dedicated their efforts to keep her voice alive. The selection of poems in the recital includes works from poets as diverse as Maria Verger and Maria Mayol, Maria Mercè Marçal, Cèlia Viñas and Rosa Leveroni... Finally reaching the poem Som tantíssimes, written by Joana Abrines and accompanied by Marga Rotger, a singer in the sisterhood. There will be additional performances from guest poets who will read the works of Maria Antònia Salvà and make her feel alive once again.
